The largest institutional investors in Norway and in Sweden have, in their respective home market, launched the Sustainable Value Creation Initiative (Bærekraftig verdiskaping and Hållbart värdeskapande). The aim is to influence companies listed on the stock exchange to develop sustainably while at the same time create long-term value for their owners.

Sustainable value creation means creating economic, environmental and social values.

The results of the Sustainable Value Creation initiatives in Sweden and Norway were today presented at the Stockholm OMX Stock Exchange and at the Oslo stock exchange.

Today, the Sustainable Value Creation Initiative was launched by a group of 13 Swedish investors with a total assets under management of SEK 3800 bn. In Norway, the continuation of the initiative during its second year was presented.
